Happy Valentine’s Day from New Pace Weddings!

As wedding photographers, we have the privilege of witnessing love in its purest form, and we’re excited to share some of these beautiful stories with you.

In this series, we’ll be pulling back the curtain on the real-life romances we’ve had the pleasure of documenting. From chance encounters to heartfelt proposals, we’ll explore the unique journeys that have led couples to say “I do.”

Maggie & Ricky

“We went to the same elementary and high school, but didn’t know each other then. During senior year of high school and early college I became friends with Ricky’s friends. We would all hang out every summer/winter breaks. The summer before our junior year of college Ricky and I started dating. We’ve have been together ever since, our 11 year dating anniversary will be in July.”

Gina & Jon

“Jon and I met on Labor Day weekend at a beach bar in Margate. We like to travel to new places, even if it’s just a day trip. We enjoy chill activities together and hanging out with family and friends.”

Gavin & Austin

“We met in Chicago on a dance floor. We found ourselves dancing and talking for hours, lost in each other’s company until 2 a.m. when the bar’s bright lights signaled the end of the night. Reluctantly, we bid farewell with our friends, but not before exchanging phone numbers. The next evening, we had our first date, an adventure that involved a daring escapade (read: trespassing) onto an ice rink, swiftly followed by a comical chase by security guards. And thus began our long-distance relationship.”

Megan & Mo

“We met our junior year of college during homecoming week. We were both in Greek life and my sorority (Alpha Phi) and his fraternity (Sigma Alpha Mu) were paired for homecoming week celebrations. We started dating the second half of senior year and have been so fortunate to have a bunch of friends from Penn State that we still hang out with all the time.”

Gina & Bryan

“Bryan and I have known each other since 2009, when we were freshmen at Bethlehem Catholic High School. We were close friends throughout high school and college and started dating in 2017. Not only is our relationship built on love, but a really solid friendship. I guess I can ACTUALLY say ‘I get to marry my best friend.’ The story behind our proposal at Lehigh is about in 2013 (way before we dated), I was in the car with one of my friends who attended Lehigh at the time. We were driving down the hill past the admissions building and I said ‘one day Bryan Brown is going to propose to me right there.’ And 9 years later he did exactly that.”

Christine & Leonardo

“So, our dads went to high school together (insert “Awww”)! We’ve known each other somewhat for a long time, but truly connected as adults and got to know each other as friends. We would go out dancing, to concerts and learned that we actually some friends in common. This quickly escalated to a fun and loving relationship in which we have been in now for the past five years. We’ve traveled many places together. He proposed while on our trip in Sonoma, CA on 9/6/22. It was a dream of a trip and he designed the ring himself which I love!”
