Love Under the Sea: Rachel & Ryan’s Enchanting Adventure Aquarium Wedding

Rachel and Ryan’s wedding day was nothing short of spectacular. Choosing Adventure Aquarium as their venue was a testament to their love for marine life and unique experiences. The backdrop of shimmering water tanks and vibrant marine creatures added a magical and otherworldly ambiance to their special day.

The day began with the usual flurry of activity as Rachel and her bridesmaids prepared for the ceremony. Rachel opted for a classic bridal look, with a stunning gown that complemented the underwater theme. She chose not to have traditional PJ/robe photos but instead focused on more candid moments with her bridesmaids. One of the highlights was the first look with her father.

Ryan and his groomsmen had their own unique preparations. Special attention was given to custom-painted Air Force 1 sneakers and laser-engraved cufflinks, which were a surprise detail for the day. These accessories added a personalized touch to their attire, making for some standout detail photos.

The ceremony itself was held in one of the aquarium’s most scenic spots, with a large water tank as the backdrop. The atmosphere was intimate and enchanting, with the soft glow of the tanks illuminating the room.

The reception was a true celebration of Rachel and Ryan’s love and personalities. Guests were treated to a cocktail hour that featured a penguin meet and greet as well as access to the aquarium’s touch tanks. How fun is that?

Rachel and Ryan went outside to take some more portraits during golden hour on the Camden Riverfront. This location gave the photos a view of the Delaware River and Philadelphia city skyline in the background.

In the reception space, each table was meticulously arranged with marine-themed decorations, custom drink napkins, and stirrers designed by the couple.

There was also a Finding Nemo themed Digital Seating Chart and 3D Mapped Cake.

Rachel and Ryan shared their First Dance on a cloud of dry ice, creating a dreamy and ethereal effect that was perfect for beautiful photos.
