When Katy & Paul reached out to us about their Labor Day weekend wedding at the new Terrain in Devon, PA we were over the moon. We’ve always loved Terrain, (who wouldn’t with their amazing spaces and attention to detail!) but to be asked to film the very first wedding kicking off their debut as a new main line wedding venue? Count us in!
We were even more honored when Katy & Paul invited us to tour the space with them as they laid eyes on it for the very first time just weeks before their wedding! It was so great to see them dreaming of what their day would be like right in front of us as our team was envisioning how we’d do it all justice!
We were simply in awe of how Terrain had transformed what Google used to show as just a “pile of dirt” into a stunning venue with perfection at every turn. You could tell it was a real labor of love for their team as they worked to put the final touches on in time for the big day! From the lush outdoor ceremony space and covered cocktail hour veranda, to the rustic chic reception hall and cozy bridal suite. Not a detail was missed to make Terrain at Devon Yard absolute perfection.
Just weeks later we were elated to present Katy & Paul with their Instagram Teaser and got rave reviews from them as well as their family who said we “captured the feeling of the day” and were so excited to the see the rest of their films! To give them this glimpse back into their day so soon after walking down the aisle was absolutely priceless. It’s why we do what we do.
They chose each other and we’re so glad they chose us to capture this amazing start to their forever! Congratulations again Mr. & Mrs. Melanson!
